RELKEEL IS EASY FOR ZAYNAR

Zaynar eases clear of Cape Tribulation.

Zaynar did nothing to lessen his Champion Hurdle claims with a bloodless success in the Unicoin Homes Relkeel Hurdle at Cheltenham, winning as a 1-5 favourite should do.

Although wandering around a little at one stage, he pinged the last and came home six lengths clear of Cape Tribulation.

Bookmaker Victor Chandler heads the syndicate that owns the Nicky Henderson-trained Triumph Hurdle winner. His firm make him the 3-1 from 4-1 favourite for the Champion.

Wining rider Barry Geraghty said: "He just races lazily, I quickened to the second-last and he met it wrong and missed it. But he has lots of class as you saw in the finish."

Henderson said: "He's a real character but he does love his jumping. "He won't be going up to three miles because I know he is a Champion Hurdle horse.

"We've got the three horses (Zaynar, Punjabi and Binocular) and it is just going to be a question of juggling them around.

"There is the Kingwell, there's Kempton, there's Sandown, the Welsh Champion Hurdle and Ireland for any of them."
